Traffic Regulations

Between 8am - 9am and 3pm - 4.15pm a one-way traffic system operates in the School grounds. All vehicles (other than buses) travel in a clockwise direction, entering the School via Gate 2 on Wooralla Drive (between the ECC and Junior Gym) or Gate 5 (next to the Boys’ Boarding House).

Cars may exit the School either via Gate 7 onto Nepean Hwy or via Gate 1 onto Wooralla Drive.

We urge parents to please take care when exiting onto Nepean Hwy, as it faces a rise in the road and is partially concealed from traffic travelling towards Mornington.

Parents may drop off and collect students from the Nepean Hwy near Gate 7. Please note, however, that parking on the Frankston side of Gate 7 is illegal. No Standing Anytime signs are posted to ensure that the sight distance for cars exiting onto the highway is not restricted. Mornington Peninsula Shire Council Rangers regularly patrol this area to enforce parking restrictions.

For the safety of our children and all road users, please only park on the Mornington side of Gate 7.

Parents may drop off and collect students from several official points within the School grounds:

The car park in front of the Junior Gym has a ‘kiss and go’ area and formal parking. There is also a ‘kiss and go’ area in front of the ECC and car parking in front of the Pavilion. These areas are generally used by ECC and Junior Years students.

Students from Years 7 to 9 may be set down and picked up in the car park next to the School Chapel and students from Years 10 - 12 in the Senior Years parking area outside the T Block.

Stopping in front of the Administration building or along internal school roads is dangerous and is not permitted at any time. Buses have a restricted turning area near the Administration block and unauthorised vehicles in this area constitute a further hazard.

Please note that there is a 10kph speed limit (barely more than walking speed) on internal roads. This limit is legally enforceable.
